Back-Channeling Your Own Keynote Maintains Traditional Power Dynamic
I’m wondering if this is really value add, or just technology jujitsu. I mean, you could just annotate your slides with a handout that is uploaded to Google Docs.
Distributing information in dribbles seems like just a way for the presenter to maintain more control. The really real time web is about a presentation model that is outdated–one that suppresses time to reflect.
So what if your presentation software could send tweets on your behalf that were timed to the slides of your presentation? You could effectively simulcast your presentation through the backchannel as a part of the conversation, adding ‘more info’ links, credits, or anything else you could imagine…
